The traditional IoT solutions deployment approach includes building IoT solutions and selling to your customers. This offers you a one-time pay-out. However, the introduction of IoT platforms confers remarkable potential for solution makers and buyers.
Using an IoT platform like IoTConnect, admins can sell their IoT solutions to multiple clients. This accelerates IoT technologies’ reach and improves product monetization as well. A subscription- based pricing model makes this possible. Anyone can be a part of our subscription module and add consumers to allow them to use IoTConnect capabilities. Partner Program offers subscription plans minimum of a month. We accept subscription-based payments through Stripe, an online payment gateway.
The subscription plan consists of the following:
Messages – the number of messages a consumer can use from the cloud service provider.
Devices – the number of devices a user can create and register in IoTConnect.
Users – the number of users a company can make.
Connectors – the number of different connectors a consumer can use between IoTConnect and Azure.
Environment – allows users to select different environment instances as per their needs.
IoTConnect admins can also register consumers who are outside of the partner program. Consumers need to fill up the form to take any subscription. They will receive an email with the details of the Subscription Portal and a temporary password to login. Subscription portal link will be shared via email. Further, they will get to see their subscribed plans in the subscription portal.
You can even avail free trial for the first month to try our IoTConnect platform. After the validity is over your free plan, you will be charged for the plan that you have subscribed. You have option to either opt out from this, upgrade the plan, or downgrade it too, depending on your requirements. While you upgrade your plan before utilizing your current plan, the change will be reflected directly, and you will be charged the extra amount only. However, if you downgrade the plan while using the current one, the effect will be seen after you have exhausted your current subscription.
Free plan for two months – Test Drive plan
If you want to explore IoTConnect to understand its modules and functionalities, you can choose our trial plan that allows you to access IoTConnect for free for two months.
You can subscribe to this plan without adding any card details. Once the plan expires, you can re-register with the same details to continue using the platform for free for another two months. However, the data and devices that you previously registered will also be deactivated.
Customized plan
To cater to unique needs of each organization, we have provided an option to personalize plans. You can click on Contact Us button and fill out the form to get in touch with us for a tailored solution. Our IoTConnect admin will contact you to design a plan that meets your requirements.
- Once you have registered as a consumer and subscribed a certain plan, you will receive two emails.
- Welcome email displays temporary password.
- Second email consists of plan details along with IoTConnect link.
If you have subscribed to a paid plan, you’ll also receive an email with invoice that you can download.
Subscription portal
The subscription portal has three things – my plans, plan history and card details. My plans show the currently subscribed plan. With plan history, you can view the records related to your subscriptions like subscription plan, transaction ID, etc. Card details segment lets you view and manage your credit card details.
Consumers can also switch the solution between different solutions on offer.
With Plan History, you can view plan details along with Amount that you paid for your initial plan, Transaction Price (the difference of amount between your current and previous plan), Status and Action. You can download detailed invoice by clicking on the download button under Action.
You can view your card details and add another card for future use. Although, if you have opted for two-month free trial plan, you will be able to see that no card has been added to the system.
By clicking on Add Card button, you will get a pop-up where you can add new card details. You can even set it as your default payment mode.
Note: Consumer registration is a public page.
