Create Template

To create a template:

  1. Go to Devices > Edge Device > Templates.
  2. Click Create Template.
  3. Complete the required fields:

  • Template Code – Enter a unique template code to help you identify or communicate the template.
  • Template Name – Template display name.
  • Authentication Type – We offer four types of authentication: Key, Token, Self-Signed Certificate, CA Signed Certificate and TPM.
  • Device Message Version – Select your device message version from the drop-down.

4. Click Save to create a template.

5. Once the basic template information is saved, you can create attributes.
