Introducing IDS with Custom IDP
All users are authenticated via Custom IDP by default for all companies. Customers can connect with the support team if they want to integrate Auth0 or Azure AD.
Key Vault
Key Vault is a feature that offers centralized storage for all the secrets used by applications and solutions. Secrets include CPID, Environment, MQTT and STOMP connection information. Generate Self-Signed Certificate
You can now generate X.509 self-signed certificate from IoTConnect on the fly from user interface. It is useful for testing and developing a solution. To know more about how to generate X.509 self-signed certificate, go through this concept article.

Support module offers the ability to send suggestions or report a bug for the platform from the user interface.
Improved connectors
IoTConnect offers you the ability to set company-wise IoTHub, Cosmos DB, and data lake Gen2 storage. For CosmosDB and data lake, we have a direct option available to configure it. While to set IoTHub you can connect with your account manager.
Test Firmware
The draft version of firmware allows a user to test firmware even on a single device. Through the draft version, our platform gives you the option to test your firmware file on a specific device before you publish an OTA update for all the devices. Twin JSON of device from IoTHub
Device twins are useful to take the backup of current working configuration of any IoT device. They store the device configurations in a JSON file in the cloud. So, in case of an instance where issue occurs during the update process, IoT device can reload the last known configurations to keep the IoT device up and running.
Remove Entity Owner
Earlier, users could change the entity owner but not remove it. The platform now allows to remove entity owner.
Configuration User Interface
Improvements are made on the user interface of configuration section. It now shows the help guide to configure the connector.
Email preference alert
There is an update regarding rule module for email preference. When you create a rule, you select the notification type. In that, when you choose email as your notification type, the platform will ask you to manage your user preferences for an email.
Historical Data View Improvements
You can now see the historical data in a table. Historical data can be viewed in tabular form with graph on the device details screen.
