Use case

Suppose a company wants to keep a record of user creation and deletion. The company admin in IoTConnect can create custom fields under the user segment which allows them to input data in date format. Let’s consider another example where a company needs to have a description field for each of their devices. They can select Text or TextArea field for the device module to insert the required text.

Customize with IoTConnect

IoTConnect supports the following field types to create custom elements:

	Date : It allows users to input data in date format
	MultiSelect : Customize fields that allow users to select multiple options.
	Select : Customize fields that allow users to select only one option.
	Number : It allows users to input numeric values.
	Text : It allows users to input a limited amount of text (words and characters).
	Time : Users can input data in HH:MM format.
	TextArea : It allows users to input large amount of text.
